Closure Campaign
Friday nacht, office pals and I watched The Bourne Supremacy. Woohoo! Gwapo ni Matt Damon! It almost has the same story as The Bourne Identity except it has the better ending. Jason Bourne gets to have peace of mind after dealing with the cause of his problems. Closure.
Fast forward to Sunday morning...
Church was a different experience. The aircons were busted and in the middle of praise and worship the power was cut-off. Imagine, it was hot as hell and no sound was coming out except from the drums. The congregation was lost in space--hot and humid space. Apparently, somebody tapped on the Meralco wire and cause the circuit breaker to overload... or something to that effect. We can run after the people responsible but never mind.. Oh well.. we're moving to our new church building anyway, and we're giving away the aircon units. Close the old church building, be generous, and move on to another. Closure.
Fast forward konti...
The cell chicks went out for lunch as usual. Sunday afternoon is revelation time. Its when all the updates, tsikas, rebukes and praises are served together with lunch on the table. I've been wanting to talk with Madonna, my cell leader, which is also the cell director in our network, about this thing that has been bugging me for days now. Actually its been months now but I never got to sort things out till this week. I'm talking about Closure.
Yes, the dreaded word, at least by me. But like bitter medicine, most of the things we dread are the ones that will make us into better persons. Some of you won't understand. It a long story...
But I've got to do this. I've just got to...
As usual ate Mado helped a lot in putting things in perspective. Gotta hand it to the girl, she has enough experiences of her own so she knows what she's talking about.. i think, hehe!
